Maegan S.

Maegan is ready to return to Gold Star September 1st and will be leasing Commanchee! Congrats Maegan!!!

Maegan started riding horses when she was about 6 years old and attended horse camps during the summer for several years. She has ridden off and on for many years until she was 19 years old when she took at job offer at Yellowstone National Park teaching and taking people on horse back rides at the park every summer. She also works with over 80 head of horses, got to chase bison while on horseback and learned great experiences while riding a number of different horses. Maegan graduated from the University of Rochester (earned her degree in Anthropology) and is currently attending North Texas Central College earning her next degree in Equine Science. She loves working with horses, has interests in working in Equine massage therapy or sports rehabilitation. She past training has been strictly Western Pleasure and trail riding and is interested in endurance. Maegan is currently working with Comanche, GS schooling horse, on ground work/breaking and training from start to finish. They are moving right along together as a team and doing great!
