Merrie & Sandi

Two years ago come April 2010, Sandi & I  purchased the first horses that we have ever had.
Star (5 years old) and Sydney (a yearling) had never been handled at all.

Sandi & I decided to give the horses time to get used to us and to their new surroundings and did not even look for a trainer, we mistakenly thought we could break these horses ourselves, I mean how hard could it be. (did I mention neither of us had ever had a horse?)

After almost a year both horses would allow us to brush them and lead them around, but that was all. Sydney, being two years old now, was becoming quite full of herself and I was unable to handle her at all. She would chase Sandi & I  around the pasture trying to kick and bite us. It was at this point we decided we needed a trainer!!!! BADLY!!!!!

Sandi called Tiffany and set up the appointment. She came out to our house to “meet” the horses, and ended up staying for a full two hour lesson!! After just those two hours we knew we had found the right person for the job. She told us what to work on to get Sydney under control.

We gave Tiffany free reign to train the horses the best way she knew how. Her training technique works well for those of us who wish to have an awesome relationship with their horse. She would show us how to gain our horses trust, and help us to understand their mindset.

We advised Tiffany  now that the horses were under control and not biting or kicking anymore, that we wished to be more involved in the training process. She had no problems with this and our training time with her is down to once a week. She gives us training techniques to work on for the week. We since have finally both gotten on our horses and walked them around the pen.  We fully expect to have both horses trained and rideable by mid-summer of this year. We are very excited to start riding our horses and enjoying every minute we can spend with them. WE COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITH OUT YOU TIFFANY!!!!        THANK YOU!!!!!!!
